BRRD began as a social experiment, pairing chopped-up drum breaks with simple, texture-less 3D birds.

Somewhere along the way, it exploded into a character that connected a wide range of people and communities.

BRRD: Perch Project is a long-term effort to turn that connection into something physical: a real-world perch where people can pause, observe, and exist alongside birds.

The Goal

The current goal of the Perch Project is to sponsor a community bench at the San Diego Zoo.

The total donation goal is $50,000 (or more).

This isn’t a short sprint or a one-time fundraiser. It’s designed to grow slowly and sustainably through BRRD artwork, commissions, and releases over time.

Why a Bench?

A bench might seem simple, but it represents something lasting.

It’s a place to rest, watch birds, and be present.

Through a community conservation bench at the San Diego Zoo, the Perch Project supports bird conservation while offering a space for people to slow down and connect.

How Is This Funded?

The Perch Project is funded through BRRD creative work, including:

  • Sticker packs
  • Art prints and framed prints
  • Video and animation commissions
  • Special releases and collaborations
  • Live Shows

Some items are offered in [Donation Mode], which contributes a larger portion of each sale directly toward the Perch Project. Other items support production costs and the continued creation of BRRD work.

This balance allows the project to stay sustainable while still making real progress toward its goal.
